Experience Africa, and never forget it…
I’ve seen the pictures and heard the stories before. Standing at a health centre [in rural Zambia] reality kicked in. What is my past time [riding a motorbike] is a community’s health line.
James Brown
We came from many countries and many backgrounds and we rode through Zambia together for Riders.

New friends, good riding … what more could you ask for.

Exploring Africa with Riders for Health has been a powerful experience. Seeing and learning from local health workers and visiting local villages has had a major impact on my view of Zambia. Now it is clear the difference Riders makes to African lives.

I’ve waited two years for this – and it’s exceeded every expectation: good company, a common passion for RfH (Riders) and for bikes. Who’d have thought a humble AG200 could be so much fun!

You will be part of a small team of fewer than 30 riders. But the riding is just part of Experience Africa. You will stop to talk, stop to listen, stop to understand what so many visitors to Africa miss; the vitality, the humour and the pretty-well unfailing good nature of the people who live in these thrilling landscapes. Yes, you will see the sun set over incredible horizons. But you will also ride to rural clinics and see first-hand the real problems out there for health workers and the people they care for. You will even ride with health workers to see what they do. And you will have the opportunity to unwind in the evening and review your day with fellow riders.
